The futures spread declined by 929bps to stand at negative 10.67 percent on the last day of the outgoing week. Trading activities on the futures counter also improved significantly as average daily volumes increased by 38.3 percent to 73.08 million shares as compared to previous week's average of 52.84 million shares. The average daily trading value on the futures counter increased by 47.6 percent to stand at Rs 3.197 billion during this week.
